Return & Refund Policy

Returns

Our policy lasts 10 days. If 10 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Only unworn items will be accepted for returns/exchange. Any defects in craftsmanship / material should be brought to our attention within 36 hours of delivery in order to be eligible for a return / refund.

To proceed with your return, kindly log in your request by signing into your Color Theory account using the email address used at the time of purchase and by providing the OTP (irrespective of whether an account was created at purchase or not) and simply choose the item you wish to return, the reason and click on request.

Once your request has been received, the team will email you with the return address and instructions and arrange for a pickup. We reserve the right to deny refund to sender without prior return approval. By any chance, if you have returned the wrong product to us then there won't be a refund applicable and we won't be liable to ship the item back to you. 

A flat rate of Rs.100/- will be deducted from the order value towards return shipping cost if we are arranging the return pickup. In case if you are willing to ship the package on your own, then the entire amount you paid will be refunded. Kindly write an email to support@colortheory.in if you wish to ship the package to us yourself.

Refunds (if applicable) 
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Any returned item must be in its original packing and conditions, and all tags need to be intact. We won't be responsible for any damages that may occur during transportation if the item isn't returned in it's original packing. If the products are returned in a poor condition or have clearly been worn or have a foul smell then we will not be able to refund your money and if you need the product back upon refund rejection, then shipping cost has to be paid by you for the same.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed in the form of coupon codes. 

We don't process cash refunds for any orders. A coupon code or store credits will be provided to you on your registered e-mail address deducting a flat rate of Rs.100/- towards shipping charges. The store credits or the coupon code will have a validity of 90 days from the date of issuance and can be used to purchase anything from the website.

Exchanges (if applicable) 
If you need to exchange a product for a size change, please put in a request using our exchange portal - https://colortheory.in/pages/exchange-portal on the website at the footer menu, under customer service. First exchange is free and thereafter INR 200/- is applicable for exchanges and COD orders depending on your pin code.

Gifts 
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. 

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return. 

Shipping 
To return your product yourself, you should mail your product to: Color Theory, #93/3, 1st Cross, Near Sri Vinayaka Theatre, Marathahalli, Bangalore-560037, KA, India.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund if we are arranging the return pick up. If the item is shipped by you, then you will get the refund amount as paid by you for the product excluding shipping. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. 

If you are shipping an item over INR 3500, you should consider using a reputed shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Resale

Our products are not authorized for resale. Any attempt to return an item purchased through a third party will render our return policy void.
